Diane Moore MS
Diane works with NewSof clients and staff to define and answer questions about Web site usage and effectiveness. Combining programming, database, and analysis skills, she guides development of automated Web-statistics reporting and responds to ad hoc inquiries. Prior to her work with The NewSof Group, Diane worked as a programmer analyst for the Seattle Public Schools on its student data systems team. In addition to programming applications for a variety of student data management needs, she assisted end users in defining requirements for new applications and enhancements to existing systems. Diane programmed applications to bridge existing legacy systems with new technology and assisted in database administration task for Adabas, Ingres, and Oracle databases. Before joining the Seattle Schools, Diane worked with URS, a civil and environmental engineering firm, as an application developer. Using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology and Microsoft Access, she wrote applications for environmental engineering site management and chemical data analysis. Before working as an application developer, Diane served as a data analyst for the Seattle Public Schools, using SPSS and Access programming for federal grant reporting and compliance tracking. Prior to this, she worked as an institutional researcher for North Seattle Community College, designing qualitative and quantitative research projects to analyze program effectiveness, student retention, and outcomes assessment.
