Maggie Fisher, MA
Project Manager

Maggie brings nearly 15 years of technology, online curriculum development, and project management experience to the NewSof team. Before joining NewSof, Maggie served as director of project management, support, and testing for a Web application-development company in Northern Virginia, where she was responsible for managing all Web development projects, as well as leading the project management, production, and support teams. Maggie has extensive experience working closely with clients to help define a project’s development requirements, manage all internal resources, and facilitate communication during the project lifecycle.

Maggie also served as director for new product development at Health Online, a healthcare technology start-up company. Maggie worked closely with large integrated delivery network (IDN) clients to define, build, and implement interactive health care Web channels.

Maggie has consulted to a variety of businesses, both in and out of the healthcare arena in the areas of e-commerce, database development and integration, online content management, and the appropriate use of "push" technology such as e-mail and interactive Web casting. Maggie is the author of two introductory books on the Internet and the World Wide Web. Her first book, World Wide Web for Kidz is used in elementary schools throughout the United States.
